TRAVEL : LAND

Travel will be in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus.  Ford mini bus or similar.

So us and all our luggage will be comfy on our journey ... and the VERY possible shopping additions!! .. Last 2 x journey's suitcases were expanded, zips were bulging and weight limits completely reached!!

We would rather a painted up kombie .. but alas no aircon!

TRAVEL : SEA

Some legs of our journey in Scotland require us to travel by Sea. It will be worth it though, I promise.  We will do our best to make it as comfortable as possible for you.  If you get seasick please bring along what you need.

ACCOMMODATION

Our accommodation across all soul-journeys is in beautiful barn conversions, quaint bed and breakfasts, apartment-style motels AND possibly a Castle! In 4* or higher you will not be disappointed by our selection homestays.

PACKING LIST

The United Kingdom in summer can be a real mixed bag for weather so there is the possibility of blinding heat, balmy days, ice cold wind and it could quite possibly rain, rain, rain! As such the best way to travel and make the most of your soul-journey is to be comfortable in your environment.

We strongly suggest layering your clothes so you can roll with the days surprises.

So T-shirts, both short and long-sleeved long pants or tights WARM vest, preferably with a hood, scarf, sun hat and beanie and your absolute MUST have gumboots or similar & light rain jacket!

Please be sure to leave any very valuable jewellery at home, but what you may like to bring are any special pieces that are ritually important to you or that you may like charged with the positive energy of the sacred spaces that we will visit.

We have laundry facilities at some of our accommodation stays so you can easily pop a load in the machine .. yes laundry is always with you, even on a soul-journey!

Can I really stress enough DON’T OVER PACK you will want room in your luggage for shopping, especially in Glastonbury!

Also do be aware of your airline luggage weight limits.
::: ONE standard sized suitcase & ONE standard carry on bag ONLY :::
There is only so much one can squeeze in the van.  There are baggage storage facilities in Heathrow & Edinburgh (although they are not cheap)

We will have a few casual but special nights out, so you might want to bring a nice dress for those times. Take a look at the pictures across our pages of what Larissa and I like to wear for guidance. We both err on the more magickal and vibrant side of attire. But just be you, comfortable in your own way. A down filled vest and woollen sun hat is a great choice as it gets cold!! & the wind certainly has ice in it!

A suggested list:

  • Loose comfy pants and tops, or cotton-lycra tights for walking & meditations circles.

  • Thongs/sandals .. might get hot!

  • Sturdy runners OR trekking shoes OR boots ... oh how I love boots but do be sensible one pair only ladies!!

  • Sunhat & beanie - if you can get one like mine with the sun visor at the front is perfect!
